150th Anniversary for Bloomingdale's
September 2022
150th Anniversary for Bloomingdale's was a complete success!! I had the pleasure of creating a variety of NYC illustrations on a signature Bloomingdales Medium Brown tote bag for customers (with purchase). So many beautiful people were so considerate and excited to receive the tote bags, thank you again for your patience with me!! Biggest thanks to the Bloomingdales team who aided me; the events staff, retail staff and security!! The way you all accommodated and the protection provided throughout my time was necessary and truly appreciated! And a special shout out to the homie Heather for reaching out to me for this event (you da best) and Deanna, the Intergrated Marketing and Special Events Coordinator!! Super glad to work with Bloomingdales again.
Our Memories Matter: Reclaiming the Land Workshop

The East New York Community Land Trust (ENYCLT) and the Center for Brooklyn History (CBH) - “Our Memories Matter Workshop” was very exciting and inspiring!!
This workshop series aim to foster pride, and celebrate the rich history and character of the East New York neighborhood. The participants were treated to a wonderful hands-on artistic activity facilitated by yours truly.
The activity focused on reclaiming the land: participants created their own personalized gardens to reflect on their individual experiences while also paying tribute to the beauty and necessity of nature. The basis of our inspiration was a brief lesson plan on the Lenape People, the original inhabitants of New York.
"A Safe Space To Create" a CCC Art Collective Workshop

“A Safe Space To Create" Artistic Workshop inside @matka.nyc Studios is used to assist developing artists looking to enhance their fine art skills. People of all ages brought their sketches and unfinished creations to work on while receiving a mini art lesson with some brilliant art mentors (including myself!)
I want to say thank you to all the developing and advance artist as well the creative individuals who attended our event (we do this for you all!) Thank you @ccc.art.collective for selecting me as one of your art mentors for your second artist workshop and additional thanks to @matka.nyc for providing the wonderful space and @nyfacurrent for allocating the funds to make this marvelous event happen!!!

"Paint and Pole" a CCC Art Collective Workshop

Definitely not your regular painting workshop!! Thank you CCC ART Collective @ccc.art.collective and CannaColors NYC @cannacolorsnyc for selecting me as your Art Instructor for your Paint N Pole event (July 23rd and August 6th). This event was a fun and sensual experience that compares to none! Thank you Candy Cane NY @candycane_ny for setting the perfect vibe for all activities and same to the skillful dancers Tianee @naneeroxbury and Kenny @kennydearie for leading the pole portion. Biggest shout out to the founder of the wonderful CCC Art Collective and curator of the Paint N Pole, Yimilya. Thank you for creating this wonderful 2 part event!

Black History Month Event for the NYC Mayor's Office of Management and Budget

Had the absolute honor to creating and giving a presentation about my artistic career for the NYC Mayor's Office of Management and Budget Black History Month Event. This included Jacques Jiha, Ph.D., the Director of the New York City Mayor’s Office of Management and Budget and approximately 60 analysts. Special thanks to Leeza, the Executive Administration Assistant and fellow friend from F.I.T, and Danica, the Deputy Assistant Director of the EEO Department, for reaching out to me to participate in such a lovely event!! I am still going through my professional development as an artist so I am quite privileged to be able to share my journey with everyone.
